Nottinghamshire – Temporary 30 Miles Per Hour Speed Limit Order
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN BASSETLAW)
(TEMPORARY SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026 (BS26-238)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Styrrup and Oldcotes in the District of Bassetlaw.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. No vehicle shall proceed at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour in the following length of road in Styrrup and Oldcotes in the District of Bassetlaw: –
a. Main Street, Styrrup – From its junction with Styrrup Court to its junction with Carr Lane.
b. Carr Lane, Styrrup – From its junction with Main Street to its junction with Styrrup Road.
c. Styrrup Road, Oldcotes – From its junction with Carr Lane to its junction with Blyth Road.
1. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
2. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
Monday, 5th October 2026
Friday, 13th November 2026 Inclusive.
The Order will come into force on Monday 5th October 2026 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable Cadent Gas to carry out gas maintenance works.

(A60 VARIOUS LOCATIONS, BASSETLAW)(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026 (BS26-263)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Carlton in Lindrick, Langold, Oldcotes and Costhorpe in the District of Bassetlaw.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road
a. A60 Carlton Road, Carlton in Lindrick – For its entire length.
b. A60 High Road, Carlton in Lindrick – For its entire length.
c. A60 Doncaster Road, Carlton in Lindrick – For its entire length
d. A60 Doncaster Road Costhorpe – for its entire length
e. A60 Doncaster Road, Langold – for its entire length
f. A60 Doncaster Road Oldcotes – From Doncaster Road Langold to its junction with A634 Blyth Road.
2. Vehicles are prohibited from waiting, loading and unloading (Both sides) (20:00 to 06:00) in the following length of road at Carlton in Lindrick, Langold, Oldcotes and Costhorpe in the District of Bassetlaw :-
a. A60 Carlton Road, Carlton in Lindrick – For its entire length.
b. A60 High Road, Carlton in Lindrick – For its entire length.
c. A60 Doncaster Road, Carlton in Lindrick – For its entire length
d. A60 Doncaster Road Costhorpe – for its entire length
e. A60 Doncaster Road, Langold – for its entire length
f. A60 Doncaster Road Oldcotes – From Doncaster Road Langold to its junction with A634 Blyth Road

From 20:00 hours Monday 21st September 2026
Until 06:00 hours Saturday 17th October 2026
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:
A634 Blyth Road/ Sheffield Road, High Street, B6045 Worksop Road/ Blyth Road, A60 Carlton Road and vice versa
The Order will come into force on Monday 21st September 2026 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out. The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 18 months).
The prohibition is required to enable VIA EM on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to carry out Resurfacing and associated works.
